Over spring break, me, Sara, Julia, and Sharnae went to Minneapolis to stay at Julia’s house. We went to church on Saturday and heard a great message. The part that really hit me was about how God is directing your life the way He wants. I always thought that everything happens for a reason, but in the message, the pastor said everything happens for a purpose, not a reason. A reason is looking for an answer for every little thing that happens. That is basically impossible to find a logical answer for every little thing. That is why everything actually happens for a purpose, His purpose. A purpose is like the overall picture of things, or at least events. When something happens in your life that might be confusing or you wonder why that happened, there is a better thing coming. God will use hard times and struggles and bring something better than what you had before. He brings the good out of the bad. So, remember that everything happens for a purpose, not a reason. Every little thing that happens may not have a logical reason present, but in the end, it all leads up to something big. God is the best planner ever, you just have to hire Him.
